The rules of the road.

01 · Acceptance

By accessing, browsing, or otherwise using axk.org (the site) you agree to be bound by these Website Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Continued use after we publish a revised version of these terms indicates acceptance of the revision.

02 · Scope of these terms

The site is an informational property. It publishes documentation, specifications, marketing material, and contact information about Afrikabal Inc. and the AXK Network protocol. It does not, by itself, allow you to transact, hold funds, custody assets, or participate in the protocol.

Protocol participation — node operation, on-chain submissions, token economics, the issuance and redemption of stablecoins, and any other interaction with the AXK Network on the XRP Ledger — is governed by separate technical documents and, where applicable, by individually negotiated agreements with Afrikabal Inc. or with third-party node operators. The whitepaper describes the protocol; nothing on this site constitutes a binding offer to provide any of those services.

03 · Intellectual property

All content on the site — text, graphics, code samples, diagrams, audio, video, the AXK Network name and the AXK mark, the Afrikabal name, and the visual design of the site itself — is owned by Afrikabal Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the site for the purpose of evaluating, integrating with, or otherwise lawfully engaging with the AXK Network. All other rights are reserved. Open-source components published by Afrikabal under their own licences (for example on GitHub) remain governed by those licences and are not restricted by this section.

04 · Permitted use

You may use the site to:

• read, link to, quote, and share its content with proper attribution;
• evaluate the AXK Network protocol and its documentation;
• contact us about a partnership, integration, or commercial relationship;
• view the source delivered to your browser solely as required to render the page on your own device.

05 · Prohibited use

You may not:

• scrape, crawl, or harvest the site at a rate or scale that materially burdens the infrastructure, except via the published robots.txt and ordinary search-engine indexing;
• reverse-engineer the front-end code beyond what is technically necessary for your browser to render the page for personal use;
• copy the site or substantial portions of it to create a competing or derivative property;
• misrepresent your affiliation with Afrikabal or the AXK Network, including by using our marks, logos, or trade dress in a way that suggests endorsement that does not exist;
• upload, transmit, or attempt to introduce malicious code, conduct vulnerability scans without prior written authorisation, or otherwise interfere with the site's integrity or availability;
• use the site in any way that violates the laws of the jurisdiction in which you are located or from which you access it.

06 · Third-party links

The site contains links to resources operated by third parties — block explorers, news outlets, regulators, GitHub, partner sites. We provide those links for convenience. We do not control the third-party site, we do not endorse its content, and we are not responsible for its accuracy, privacy practices, or availability. Follow them at your discretion.

07 · Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Afrikabal Inc. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of content.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, that it will be free of errors, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. The accuracy of forward-looking statements — including roadmap items and projections — cannot be guaranteed and should be read in conjunction with our disclosures.

08 · Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Afrikabal Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms or the site exceed one hundred United States dollars (USD 100). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

09 · Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Afrikabal Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising out of your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party in connection with your use of the site.

10 · Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of the site shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Kigali, Rwanda. Nothing in this section limits a consumer's right to bring a claim in the courts of their habitual residence where that right is granted by mandatory local law.

11 · Changes & severability

We may revise these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our services, or applicable law. The revised version becomes effective on the date shown at the top of this page. If we make a material change we will use reasonable efforts to highlight it.

If any provision of these terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision.
